Areas of Support
How Carmen works with leaders and their organizations.
Rather than fitting into a single job description, Carmen operates across the areas where executives most often need trusted support. Each category below reflects a capability she brings to the table — and how she turns leadership intent into organized action.
Executive Partnership
A discreet extension of the executive office.
Carmen sits beside the leader as a trusted thought partner and operational extension of their office. She absorbs complexity, understands intent, and creates the structure and space an executive needs to operate at their highest level — with judgment, discretion, and complete alignment.
Strategic Operations
Turning priorities into owned, moving work.
She brings order to ambiguity by clarifying priorities, identifying gaps, tracking dependencies, and keeping the right work visible. In fast-changing environments with multiple initiatives, she ensures execution stays connected to the bigger objective.
Technology & AI Operations
Bridging technical initiatives with business execution.
Carmen supports technology and AI efforts spanning data, reporting, process development, and operational workflows. She coordinates digital product and website initiatives — content, creative assets, QA, stakeholder communication, and launch readiness — so technical work aligns with business intent.
Acquisition & Integration
Supporting transitions with clarity and continuity.
She supports acquisition and integration initiatives by organizing information, documentation, processes, teams, and operational handoffs. She helps bring acquired companies and projects into new organizational structures without losing momentum or institutional knowledge.
Cross-Functional Coordination
The connective tissue across teams and functions.
She coordinates across technology, development, marketing, finance, operations, and external teams — translating between stakeholders, keeping communication clear, and making sure everyone has what they need to move forward.
Systems & Infrastructure
Building the structure that makes execution possible.
Carmen creates the underlying systems teams rely on: project trackers, intake processes, document management, reporting workflows, process documentation, and compliance support. The result is consistency, accountability, and less friction in day-to-day operations.
Strategy + People + Operations + Execution
The IntersectionCarmen’s strength lies in operating where these four areas meet. She can think strategically while managing details, coordinate people while building systems, and keep execution moving without losing sight of the executive’s intent.
Experience in Context
A progression built inside executive environments.
Carmen’s background is rooted in close executive support, operational coordination, and building structure around complex work. Her current focus is Executive Operations, Technology & Acquisition Support within Roman DBDR — a technology and investment environment focused on Security, AI, Fintech, Media, and Enterprise Technology.
Earlier roles as an Executive Assistant in the mortgage industry and in program development and instruction shaped her ability to manage competing priorities, anticipate executive needs, design long-term plans, and create systems tailored to the people using them.
Executive Support → Systems & Planning → Operations → Technology & AI → Acquisition & Integration → Chief of Staff
Carmen operates at both the strategic and detailed levels. She can sit beside an executive, understand what they are trying to accomplish, organize the people and information required, identify what is missing, create the necessary structure, and make sure the work actually moves forward.
